Finishing a knife, picking up iron for smelting, working at the farm, cleaning the house, working on my smelter, rebuilding my forge, putting a roof on my shop, writing an essay, and ordering charcoal. Might buy a racing car and a wood splitter for a hydraulic press.

I got my daughter-in-law coming over tomorrow to spend the day with Helen and me. Haven't seen her in 4 years. Got to watch what I cook, see doesn't like the heat. HEHEHEHEHE!!!!
She is a light brown hair and blue eye cutie.;) She is the same age as Helen.

Judy's son, Brian ,is coming in from DC . We are meeting Sunday for brunch. Haven't seen him since he left for Afghanistan. Judy is excited, to say the least !

I'll be working on a Coanoe patterned folder but not a slipjoint. a linerlocked folder....new patterns or ideas are a "blast" to develope......

IG, one comment to ya in spite of the fact we all know you are a "Cradle Robber" YOF....
My first Grandson (my Son's boy) was born on Oct 14, 2007.....my wife Judy, is "over the edge"....but NOT ME.....I just have plans to soon make his first handmade knife, to teach him to tie flies, and to fly fish, and of course, to start making knives....he's 12 days old today.......he is a "punkin".....Keaton Joseph Fraps, my first Grandchild!!!!!!
By the way, what ever happnened re the HT Relish?....no response required, just a thought.....

Well, my forging elbow is "shot" and has been for the past three weeks. Been wearing one of those "tennis-elbow" sleeves, but it hasn't helped much so far.

Working on a couple of stock-removal blades for a customer "down-under".

Elbow pain really gets you down........... Any remedies ???????

Profiled out 3 tonight, hope to get the flats ground down and ready for HT. Have 2 small Damascus pieces that just need etch and scales so maybe I'll fire those out also.

making knives :)

Got a few profiles to get cut and ground, not firing the forge today. I'm due to get 2 kitchen knives for family christmas presents and one for the gift exchange.

finishing up one of the sierra hikers, this one is going to be pretty. hoping a few non-orders sell soon, and ordering sanding belts.

I *might* start on the no weld 2x72 grinder parts collecting today, but that depends on how fast the rest goes.

i wiII be compleeting mine sat. :)

The guy that shoes my horses had similar trouble with his elbow and if I remember right he started taking knox gelatin (not sure I spelled it correctly) everyday and claimed it helped. Its supposed to help rebuild/maintain healthy joints and fight arthritis. I'm not sure if it helped his elbow, or if his back just got bad enough he forgot his elbow....but it might be something to try :D

I just found a local source for Magentite ore!
Potters use it for coloring their clay! there's a local distributor with 500 pounds in stock I'm going to begin setting up for a smelt.
Hoorah Now I'll be cookin rocks!

Keep us posted on this Page....and get pictures! :)
