I have always been under the impression that when someone declares, "I will take it"... that means they're actually going to buy the knife.

Well, I guess that's not gonna happen in this case. Sorry, opscwo... several days later, I still have zero communication or payment from you. So, that knife is still available! :)

Wow the D2 is unreal, killer knife, 3xs the value over others I see for sale elsewhere ! Simply great knife. I used it, beat it, and it is still RAZOR SHARP, thanks James.. True master skills.. "I'll be back" !

I'm sure we can work something out for a nice leather sheath! My wife was very pleased when I told her you wanted to name your new knife after our pal Rocky :)

I really like that knife, and I've kinda been hoping that no one would buy it, so I could keep it for myself. But that's cool... I can make more... ;)

Please allow me to clarify something... this gentleman added a few bucks to his payment to me, to cover any fees. That is not necessary!

I refunded the extra back to him, because my original asking prices include all domestic shipping (I generally ship by USPS Priority Mail, unless the customer requests a different carrier), fees, sales tax, insurance, etc no matter if you pay by PayPal, money order or whatever. That complies with various PayPal and BladeForums rules, and frankly it makes it easier for me to keep track of my books.

The only time I ask customers to pay more is if they're in another country, because that usually entails more cost to ship, possible customs fees/taxes etc. For international orders, I will look up all the actual costs and let the customer know :)

Wilsonhome also confirmed his correct shipping address in a private message, and that's always a good idea :thumbup: On two seperate occasions I sold a guy a knife, they forgot that they had moved but didn't change the address on their PayPal accounts, and I sent it to their prior home :eek: Happily, we got it squared away both times and they got their knives, but it was a bit of a hassle.

Also, if you want a knife shipped to your job or something so you know someone will be there to get it during the day, just let me know. I understand that sometimes people are leery of having an expensive package just sitting on their doorstep all day.

It's no big deal, it's just the right thing to do. That dude sent me too much money, so I sent the extra amount back to him. Seems pretty normal to me. I hope that every knifemaker and knife seller would do the same courtesy for their clients.

I did rec. the ultranaut and am very impressed with the knife. While I have not put the blade to hard use, nor lashed it for it's intended use at Trophy Hunters Lodge in Great falls SC, the knife arrived sharper than any knife I have ever owned. I actually shaved my 2 day facial growth better than a razor ! It is actually exactly what I asked James for, scary sharp. The sheath, while not custom, could not fit the knife better. Having room for a added firesteel, and a SAK Cyber , I Feel comfortable with carrying this knife as a bug out EDC. The Velcro face of the sheath also allowed me to attach an "o+" glow in the dark patch clear for all to see. I know this knife will cut completly through any hog I harvest at THL, Mr. Jay Dorsey does a nice job with his cur dogs and his hand raised 140-160 lb "Old Southern Bulldogs" build like NFL linebackers ! Once bayed the Ultranaut, will quickly end the harvest. I will follow up here on site with those details as soon as I make it to the farm. But again, Hats off to James, maker of a man's knife with function and quality in mind. What an honor, and prices well within budget compared to other offerings. rb black
