Folks, once again...sales threads are not discussion threads. Unless you are buying the knife or item and have questions about the transaction itself, any and all discussion to be taken to either email or start another thread in the GBU section or Tech Support. Don't trash and clutter up a sales thread. The only exception to this is the knife makers area where they do solicit feedback about their work.

Here are some examples of what NOT to do:

Leave for a few hours and I miss another one. Damn
It happens to the best of us, not exactly groundbreaking.
I missed it too, by 5 minutes. It was gone in 3, and prices for these have been going up steadily too.
Note to self, don't post this in a sales thread.
Thanks for the info.
You're welcome?
What did this one sell for? 710s ROCK, and so does M390!!

Congrats to who scored this blade!!!!
You know what else rocks ? Asking this question through email, it's poor form to do it in the open.
Pardon my ignorance, but what does SPF stand for? I'm a newbie, so forgive my ignorance. Thanks
Reading and adhering to the rules for the forum in which one posts in absolves the individual.

Damn, that is a nice knife, I wish I had some money
The seller is only interested in hearing from people with money, not the broke ones.

Good natured yes, but clutter nonetheless. Don't do it.

"Man, that is a super knife. I totally wish I had money.

Interested in my sweaty gym clothes in trade? How about my rare toenail collection? I know you said cash only, but rare toenails are like cash."

Email sent...

Would you be interested in a trade?

$700 !!!! Would you take $250 ?

I'm interested.

How about posting an "I'll take it" in your sales thread then sending e-mail or PM with an offer of less than the asking price.

After the sale, what about compliments and/or questions?

There should be no need. All questions should be asked prior to buying and one can give compliments in their feedback both in Itrader and in this forum. So....No.

This is a BIG problem. We've seen threads that were completely derailed by bystanders getting into a conversation in someone's sales thread. One off-topic post and the conversation begins.

This got so bad that we got a new infraction listed for Interfering with an Exchange thread. We haven't been giving it as an infraction with points but there are some threads I have been tempted. The ones mocking the selling price definitely deserve that 10 point hit.
