Honestly I think there should be a standard of how items should be listed. On certain forums I visit about guitars they actually have a form you essentially copy and paste and fill in the information. This does two things. 1. the buyer cant claim he wasnt informed, and the seller cant say he didnt know any better. I cant say for sure but from where I am sitting there is only 2 possibilities here. 1. The person selling the PM2 knows exactly what he is doing and is using the bare minimum information to try and pull every last cent out of the sale or 2. He has literally no idea how to evaluate and place a value on knives. And after the knife was returned a minimal change in the description has me thinking one is more likely.
Regardless of all the errs the seller is portraying one thing needs to be mentioned. No matter the shortcomings of the seller in this case anyone who looked at that original posting and took the gamble without asking for more information needs to be much more careful. I think both people kinda failed. One certainly more than the other, but people need to always realize that rarely if ever is "ignnorance bliss" in the realm of buying used knives.
