FRN= A POS handle

The G10 fall is interesting and worth further investigation, but I don't think a singular instance of G10 cracking is indicative of all or most G10. At the very least, thickness should have major differences in strength, and who knows what else. Of course, I certainly understand that you can't just go out and spend 400 dollars on knives to drop off of your house to satisfy my curiosity.

We may just have to wait for some anti serendipitus accident that shows that G10 does in fact crack (or does not) from long drops.

Well tickle me with a feather and call me Nigel - I guess there are always way to rip that clip out. IWB or clipped to cargo pocket works for me.

That was the funniest comment I have ever heard!! Thanks for the chuckle!!!! Yeah, I guess there is always a way to rip out a clip!! Actually, I always kept my Native clipped to my right front jeans pocket, but that knife clip had the propensity to grab everything, for some reason!! It caught on something, and almost completely sheared off!! I sent it back to Spyderco to fix.
 
I just received my Pacific Salt (Yellow Handle, PE) and love it! For the price, it is hard to beat. I love the shape of the blade...sort of reminds me of my Santoku kitchen knives that I love.

I would also buy an H1 blade (with a similar shape) in a Titanium handle...in a NY minute!

To Sal Glesser...thanks for replying to these forums. It really speaks well for Spyderco. I sure hope that you guys are planning on making some fixed blades and higher end folders (ie..with titanium or G10 grip) with that H1 steel. I think that you would have a winner!

For me, so far, so good with my Pacific Salt!
