FRN Dragonfly research - need input

I use my dragonfly daily, the only thing I can come up with is make it orange.

That's not a bad idea. It's been so trendy to make things look 'tactical' (black or green) that people forget that it's important to be able to find small tools when you drop them, especially in the woods.

One piece, no liners, screw pivot. Would appreciate a color variation as well over the standard black.

Linerless, no clip what so ever, bi-directional frn handles & jimping on top & bottom of the Vg-10 blade. Also pin construction. Makes an excellent pocket carry. Thanks Gary

I'll buy a couple either way, but I do like the liners. I agree with the swedgeless crowd, and most importantly- orange does rock ;)

Keep blade design as is, but add jimping to choil and thumbramp. NO liners please, texture both sides of handle and a wire clip mounted at the top of the handle for deep pocket carry.

I vote for screw construction (like delica), wire clip, keep the swedge, and orange frn as an option. can't wait for the new dragonfly, it's going to be the next big hit!

one piece FRN textured on both sides and an adjustable pivot.
i know you are going with the same wire clip as the g10 version. but i just would love it so much more if it was deeper pocket carry. i realize the handle shape makes this somewhat difficult, but im sure you could make it work if you moved the lanyard hole
thanks

Pick the configuration that meshes best with the rest of the line - i.e. what features do other regular/widely available models in this size cover? I think that means keep it simple - no liners, and maybe even pinned pivot. If you want something stiffer, go for the G10 dragonfly, or Spin, or Leafstorm, or Cricket.

I'd prefer to keep costs low, so there's a small (but still big enough to wrap your hand around and do real work!), inexpensive, non-Byrd blade in the inventory.

i like sandwich screw construction because it can be taken apart for cleaning and maintenance, which i think is REALLY important.

Sal, I know final design decisions are still being made, but is there an estimated release date?

It's too bad you couldn't broaden the wireclip up at the top where it bends (just making it a bit wider) so that the clip could fit around the lanyard hole which would allow the clip the be mounted further towards the end of the handle. I know this could lead to some potential problems with the knife clipping properly when a lanyard is attached, or would it? :)

i would also really like to know if you could come up with an estimated release date. i am very interested in buying this knife

Yes,like the delica.Screw construction,nested liners,pivot screw.

Why? because it make a sturdy blade thats easy to clean ,while being light enough already because it's a small knife.

Agreed.

Sold all my pinned knives except ladybugs ..They develope side to side play which i cannot tighten.

While i don't like liners the nested ones with FRN work well and add that smooth action.

Screw pivot is part of the (Screw construction)

I would keep the Calypso Jr style swedge or whatever it's called.

Jimping underneath finger could take it or leave it.
