Frontier/Rustic style knives.Let's see 'em

Here's a somewhat rustic backpacker's knife I banged out recently... still needs a sheath though

Always beautiful. I cannot afford Daniel Winklers knives and Karen Shook's sheaths, but I have picked up a few really nice pieces from Matt Lesniewski and J Neilson (all traded or sold off in the hunt for other sharp tings). Great idea for a thread.

John, this has been the wallpaper on my realjob 'puter for about 4 years.
I've looked at it a thousand times and always find new details..still my favorite..

I'm not sure if I can even play in this game with the fine makers and craftsmen that have posted, but here goes. These are 3 of the knives I have made that I was going for a rustic aged look.

Blade: O1 with a mustard lemonjuice patina
Handle: box elder burl
Bolster: 1018
