For Sale ROCKSTEAD KOU
It's been a while since I posted anything for sale, hopefully I remember the protocol...
I know it's a long post, but want to be clear.
Selling my Rockstead Kou, actually purging a few pieces I have left since I've pretty much stopped all knife activity.
Thanks to the Canadian Border Services making it nearly impossible to get any knife into Canada these days.
I am the original owner, I purchased this brand new from the Knifecenter back in Sept of 2014. I had used this regularly for a number of years.
But did not abuse it...I used it to open boxes, cut skate laces, trim plastic, etc. The box and papers are like new. The handle looks like new.
The blade shows signs of use. The blade needs to be sharpened. Let me repeat that, the blade needs to be sharpened.
Although it's still sharp as s%#t, it has some edge dulling and in some places there's minor (micro) chipping.
Rockstead will sharpen free as part of their service, you have to cover the shipping to Japan.
I have never registered the knife, I will provide the email from my original purchase.
Trust me, If I was confident I could send this to Rockstead and get it back through the Canadian border, I would keep it! It's such a perfect EDC.
I'm not sure where to price this since whomever buys it will want it sharpened (did I mention that) I don't know what your shipping will be or how long it takes.
I'm sure there's members who have done this and know those answers, I do not.
I paid $999.17, let's put the price at $450 USD which will include PP fees and shipping anywhere in Canada or Continental USA.
Anywhere else please PM me first. To be clear the knife ships from Canada, Calgary to be exact.
No trades.
If you are a Canadian, be aware that sending to Rockstead means it may never make it back, depending on the Border re-entry.
