Up for trade is my CRK Starbenza. I have a Strider itch and I'm wanting to trade for one. Not to picky on model or options on Strider at the moment Just want to see what someone might want to trade. The only thing I ask is disclosure. I know more Striders are off center than there are centered ones. Yes I would prefer a centered one and might even consider one that ever so slightly favors one side just not any that are WAY off.

Here's some pics of the Starbenza with full details and disclosure below.......

I recently got this CRK from the exchange. That owner stated he was the second owner and that his wife carried it for a very very short time then decided she want an Umnam. Upon receiving it and then playing with it for a bit I notice a very tad bit of play had developed so I decided to check the pivot. The pivot was loose so I checked the other screws, they were loose also. After tightening the blade action got pretty stiff so I took it appart to check things out. The washers looked as if it had hardly been opened at all since leaving the factory but doesn't explain to me why the screws were loose and the washers were pretty dry. So I cleaned everything and re-greased with CRK fluro and put it back together. I was always under the impression with 21's one could tighten down on the bushing and be good{my first 21}, I ended up having to find that sweet spot on the pivot as one would do on a 25 or Umnam. The blade ever so slightly, I mean ever so......favors the lock side. It's hard to capture that in the pics. If I take a light and shine up through the knife from the edge side it looks perfect{to me} but from the top angle like the pic it looks ever so off.

You can tell by the pics it's hardly been in pocket and probably used even less. I have not touched the edge other than a strop to polish it a little. I've had it with me everyday since I got it and after taking it apart.....carrying in a soft slip case. Now that i've been opening everyday it's breaking in very nicely and is functioning wonderful with that "hydraulic" feel everyone describes.

With all that being said if you have a Strider you may want to trade let me know.

Thanks

Still available at the moment. Had several good offers and still weighing in on them all. More interested in SNG and SMF's.

Thanks
