Thanks Duncan, it is growing. I'm happy with specializing, it helps control my out of control urges :D Sort of,lets say refocused urges.:o

Best regards
Robin

I seem to have lost track of this very impressive thread over the past couple of weeks; more stunning contributions have appeared!!:eek::thumbup:

VERY impressive, Gus!:cool: In some other thread, I remarked about how many marvelous TCs you must have, and here they are!;) Do you pick up whatever you can find, or is there a "theme" to guide your acquisitions?

Wow, Will!!:thumbup::thumbup: As Frank Sinatra once sang, it was a very good year!! Kind of the Year of the 38 for you, in some sense, although as Brad notes, you have quite a variety of fantastic knives you've picked up so far this year!:cool: (I'm probably at least as impressed with your stag 83 as you are! :D:D)

That's a strong recommendation that concurs with the opinion of Mr. Chips!!

Congrats on the impressive "sub-collections" you've put together, Jack!!:thumbup: I need to expand my horizons by tracking down some of those British Army Clasp knife threads and learning about something totally foreign (no pun intended) to me! :p

VERY cool, Randy; those chestnut bone Cases you picked up are a fantastic addition to what was already a superb bunch of traditional folders!!:thumbup: Who is the maker of the Barlow on the lower left in your photo? That looks very classic to me.:) Actually, that entire left column of a baker's dozen plus one Barlows looks incredible to me!!!

Thank you so much. That is an old USA Imperial.

This is one drool-worthy thread!!!
I was trying to put all my Equal End Case knives in one place, and I am nearly there. I just have a few more to find, but for now, here they are!

All of them:

WOW Charlie!!!!!

Wow. Super tiny! Jack... what is the tortoiseshell with the tortoise blade and spatula/spoon? I've not seen that configuration. What is the spoon for?

Both the tiny knives have half-stops Liam! The spoon is an ear-spoon! Very common at one time apparently. That and the knife directly above were produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1920's, and were gifted to me by Duncan

The entire collections of some forum members may require aerial photography! ;)

Jack, That little one in the middle of the photo may be the smallest knife that I've ever seen. Ear spoons are still used in Japan.... at least a friend from Japan uses one. I'm not sure of the scale in your photo but her ear spoon is much smaller though. Maybe it's made for a smaller ear?? She has tiny ears.

This pic shows the size of my current collection and how I store them, even though it doesn't allow identification of most of the knives. (Actually, the knives I'm carrying this week, or using in the kitchen, aren't in the containers, so imagine another 15 knives filling in some of the spaces. :D)

very similar to my cigar case for my users. but what do you do with the boxes and stuff in case you want to let something go for sale?

I have a big box that I keep all of my little boxes in (but many of my knives are pre-owned and I don't have boxes for them).

preowned does it make it easier! managed to score the 2014 bladeforums knife, used of course. would like one new with tube tho eventually

It's certainly the smallest I've seen  The ear spoon is pretty small too. On the large pic (above), the largest knives are Peanuts. Below is a pic of the smallest knife on the tip of my #15 Sheepsfoot Barlow

Here's my small collection of users. I have a couple Moras, an Opinel and a few SAKs that live in my backpacks and camp kitchen box. Pictured are my rotation of edc knives.

Whats the GEC with the bail? I like it!

Here is most of my traditional collection at the moment. Disregard the upper left hand corner :D

Great pics & great showing, Charlie. Tell us about the drawer they're in. Part of a custom made knife storage case?
