I made this one for a collector. He asked me to make a throat and tip leather sheath and have the knife and sheath engraved. Im a bit nervous about the sheath because Ive never made one like that before but its good for me to learn new things.

8" damascus blade, nickel double guard and front and rear bolsters, stag scales.

Bruce, Does this mean there's a 3 legged dog wondering around? Nice looking knife! Is this one you had at Eugene? I'm sure you know Mister Evans has a throat/tip tut somewhere.

Is this a flat grind or did you use the big wheel?

Another work of art....one fine looking piece of work.....Bruce, are you the one that did the fancy muzzle loading pistol a ways back??

I'm very disappointed in you Bruce, where's the gun barrel? Thats 2 knives with no bullets to go along, whats up with that. :D :D

Outstanding work as usual, .

Very nice, Bruce! Love the proportion of the swedge. Gives the knife a beautiful balance.

That's a beauty, Bruce. I like the pointy clip.

I've often wondered if the dogbone handle was a Sheffield nod to the traditional ballocks dagger.

Sam,, yep most everything gets the MS now but you would be surprised at how many people ask what the MS stands for.

Raymond,, this is the one that you beat in the Best Bowie competition. I still like mine best :) I used my new grinder with the 14" wheel. Yes Im going to check out the Bruce Evans tutorial.

Bigbcustom,, Yes Ive made several muzzleloader pistol/folders now in fact I just finished one that Im waiting for the CD so I can post a picture of it.

Bill,, I new it was missing something. :)

Thanks guys for all the kind words

Bruce,

What can I say but, That's one beauty Bowie, love that long clip point design

Bruce,
Nice work!
Did you make your own damascus? What is it?

Also, I wanted to compliment you about taking the time and effort to send the series of non criticizing posts to Pimpinsqueezer a while back. It raises my level of respect for you.

Hi Mark, thanks man. Yes I make my own damascus. I used to buy it from Devin Thomas until I figured out how to make it. He still amazes me though.
Jacob is a good kid. I wish I had some of his computer skills and all of his enthusiasm.

And we all know the best flavor is Sheffield...WOW I want that knife!!! Too bad I can't buy it.

I dont comment often but this one pulled me out of lurkerdome.Great design.
Have you considered engraving the pommel and guard?

Very SWEEEEEEEET Bruce....I like that dog bone shape on the pommel end.
