Fullrs: Not many knives with fullers out there.

Misconception. Increases strength to weight ratio but not absolute strength. In fact, once the fuller is ground, absolute strength is a little lower than before.
Yes, hence the “Apparently” as it never made sense to me but look pretty cool 😆

Love those micarta, especially the vintage looking brown /red, are these still produced?
There are still plenty of midtechs in stock at DLT. Vehement Knives K2, including some in the gloss natural micarta. The Firedog canvas was a one-off custom, and the hand-rubbed satin finish was also not a standard option

I have had multiple opportunities to by the Schempp Tuff -- the original & the Sprint -- but they just never appealed to me. However, I do like how the fuller on the Tuff is sometimes referred to as a "blood channel." LOL! ;)

I think that the Tuff is the only Spyderco designed by Schempp that I've never owned (including several of his smaller ones that I've bought & sold) but I still can't bring myself to buy one.

However, I bought one of Schempp's EuroEdge folders as soon as I saw one, mainly because I have a thing for daggers. The fullers make the blade look more attractive IMO.

These are stock pics from the Net but mine looks just the same.

Was this your issue knife?
Yes - well, technically it wasn't issued. I bought it new with my own money in the fall of 1995 for less than $30 and have drug it across four continents. The finger guard is a little loose, but you won't hear me complain. :)
