Fun blade (Now I need a habaki!)

Here are a few pictures of how she is looking now. I am basically done with all the rough work and now will be hand sanding buffing sharpening etc.

She is still not done, but here is how she looks now:

The copper steel copper in the fittings really makes it POP! The placement of the makers mark is one I've never seen, I like it. Great looking knife.
 
Fan-friggin-tastic Allen... I'm itchin to see it all whored-up. Are you going to keep it as a take-down or glue the pin in? Maybe you already answered that... I haven't read everything. I figured since it was a Meringer inspired piece you were going for the take-down approach.

Thanks. It took me a while to figure out where to put my mark as the habaki takes up the tradition place and I didn't want to put it on the blade.
