As much as I'd like to buy this beauty - I don't have the scratch for it right now (unless you want to trade some other EDCs ). It has been forever since I've participated in a Fun Friday Sale, so I figured I'd jump in here just to say Hi!
That hand-ground finish looks so damn classy combined with that polished Desert Ironwood and polished fasteners. I love how you managed to keep the small "scallop"(?) texturing on the scales, too!

No lanyard hole for these "Classics"?
Hey Benson, I'm glad to see you around, it's been a while
We ran into issues splintering the wood while machining it. Losing the hidden lanyard hole (which exactly three people use) was consistent with "CPK classic" because I never used to use them. I ditched it to prevent cracking between the slot and the outer surface due to removing the supporting micarta liner in that spot (at the rear which is a vulnerable area). A conservative approach for a PITA project with a lot of hours in it...
