Love the look of this knife.
Correct me if I’m wrong here:
So far, the differences to the 1st gen (which I do not own, unfortunately):
- Handle modified and appears to be modeled after the one on the HDFK
- Shorter by .25” (no glass/skull breaker at the pommel)
- slightly taller blade?
- tip raised and belly slightly pushed out
- initial edge 20 DPS vs 18 DPS on the original
- 60 HRC vs 61/62 on the original

(The last two points presumably correspond to the change in HT to the newer D3V.)
