ok mods this is the 2ed fundraiser knife SPARKS said we could link!
from what i see Joe is understating this factory customized 120 classic!!
jest look at it ! >> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280242191806ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:US:1123

The knife/sheath were donated and Joe Houser provided the fantastic looks! here is what Joe says on it..(bold is mine)
"This auction is for a Buck Knives model 120 General with a stag handle. It started out as a standard knife from the 1967 to 1969 time frame. It was just re-handled in stag at the Buck factory. They took special care to keep the original guard, bone hard fiber spacers, and pommel.[/B] The 440c blade is stamped BUCK, U.S.A. and has a satin finish. It comes in a custom tan leather sheath from the 1980's and a limited edition box. This is a nice knife and would do well in the field or in a collection. "

((nice my bottom! IMHO: Absolutely Fantastic!))

yes i did not know they could save the parts like they did !!! wow !!
it needed some clean up when i sent it but this looks fantastic!

That is nice...I wouldn't mind having that... :)

I have ~$300+ in auctions already bid on that end just before that one does...If I lose out on those , I'll bid on that 120...I know I won't win it; I'm on a dial-up...

But I'll give it a go... :D

You know...If Goose's wife really loved him, she'd bid on that and give it to him... :p

'Trax...bid $28,901.99 and you'll win it......dial-up schmile-up....bid now! Ya' know Joe's auctions tend to bring premium prices so I think I would go with that :jerkit:

I can't believe no one has out bid me!

Don't make me start questioning your manhood :-)

And yes, even with dial up if you put in a bid now of $30K I promise you'll get it!!!

That's exactly what whatabeaut does... :D

334dave -

Is that 120 one of the "older" blade styles, or is it the "newer" style??? I can't post a pic comparing the two because I sold my "older" style to a gander... :(

Gee, you can buy a brandy new General for $58 plus s/h... why'd anyone want that oldy-looking thing?? It doesn't even have 'Pro-Line' emblazoned on it!

Seriously, nice knife... sadly, I already sold my spare kidney for a custom shop 110... but, my wife is younger...

Geez Trax, that's obviously 1:02:33am in the morning for you and pretty darn late for me as well. Wish Joe would have listed that a bit earlier. Makes snipe hunting pretty hard in the dark!!
