Funniest knife

Pretty much anything by Dark Ops. This is probably their worst.

I think that some of the spyderco's are pretty funny looking personally...

The Lava, Dodo, and Kiwi are all kinda funny looking, but I want to own all of them. They certainly don't look normal, they look a little funny, but they also look like they'll work a lot!

Spydies are cool but I have to admit they have a certain uniqueness about their esthetics that U love or hate. I gotta love em.

For me its anything made by Kurbatov. I saw his "blades" from The complete encyclopedia of knives by A.E. Hartink and they just suck!

Kurbatov is very creative and non-conforming. His blades are weird, often funny, but I do not think that they suck. Check http://www.rusartknife.urbannet.ru/kurbatov.html - it's in cyrillic, but links under thumbnails are clickable. I like his work, though his blades are not "workhorses" and even "usable", but closer to abstract art.

The Lava, like other Spydies "works" when it's in your hand.It really feels right, and cuts like hell too. Likewise the Dodo. The mantis knives are claiming S30V, 154cm, and I've even seen them e-bayed as BG42 steel. Their problem is more than skin deep IMO. Joe

Trekon86, what you describe as a "collection" could also be termed an EDC rotation. Good using knives to match your mood.

The knives pictured here would do on a "I want to look like an idiot" day.

Hmm, maybe I need to cull my rotation some more . . .

 WOW!!!

Slap a pair frisbees (Fridex) together for a sheath; add a Mr-T bling chain to it; and you've got one hell of an attention gettin' neck knife/pizza cutter!!!! Werd, Duuuuude!!!

The knife-gun has always struck me as not only silly but in a way......let's just say dumb...as in a piano-player in a marching band.

Then you have its inbred cousin/sister (couzister) the gun-knife. As in "Too close for guns!!!! Switching to blades!!!"

The Gerber-Ronco collaboration Commemorative Model .50BMG Multitool and salad shooter will be right up there once the Rube Goldberg-SAK lawsuit on patent infringement is settled.

What a great thread!

The best I've ever seen, I think was Danbo's set of "Totem" knives he'd been given for Christmas. I still crack up when I think about those pics he posted and imagine what the hell do you say to be polite on Christmas Morning when you're looking at something like that?

I've got very little contribution myself. Although I still have a $5 Flea Market survival knife floating around somewhere. I was gonna take the world over with that thing and my battery operated Uzi squirt gun. Some day Rambo himself was gonna tremble in fear at the mere mention of my name.....

The nearest I've aquired lately is NOT a knife...it's a errr....scraper....

I got a pic of it in this thread:

Lovin' the pics y'all are comin' up with!:D

I love to whip out the Eye of Drakonus.

That fantasy stuff has no value or meaning for me.
Quite right. I immediately thought of Spyderco and on of their knife named after one of the ugliest and therefore extingt birds ;)
But then you guys made my day with all the stuff Mr Whorf or the Scissor Sisters might carry :)

Sweet jesus. A laser guided automatic knife. That's like, an ICBM or something. Do you sight-in with the laser and then throw the knife????
