Funniest knife

Yeah, I second Lava...
and it's not bashing - we talking about funniest, not ugliest blades!

Me bad. Indeed, I was merely thinking the ugliest knives.
Funny... let's see. The Spyderco Lava is funny. And functional, no doubt about it. Also the Spyderco Meerkat. The Kershaw Chive comes close and the ET is not bad either.

In regards to the funny round knife up there, I think people are confusing it with these famous Baguazhang deerhorn knives.
Not true. There are many exotic chinese weapons, many of which I am not familiar with. (did you click on the link in my last post in this thread?)

Those shark knives are colossally lame, for sure, But I'm just wondering what this thing is for. I mean ... dang!

I went to the dark ops website and was struck by the tagline ... something about being the finest tactical knives in history. Of course we all know that can't be true because they don't have a video!

I'm not sure what it's for either. The thought process eludes me. I think they wanted one of those "does everything in every situation knifes".

Sharkperu might be trying to cash in on the ceremonial Inca/Mayan human sacrifice to the gods with my scary magically shaped knife thing. They really are over the top.

If they tried to cut me open with those things, I'd die laughing then come back and haunt them for the insult.

Heres two. The one on top is called the Skeletar, I believe; I have no other info about it. The other one I believe is a Don Fogg/Murad Sayen collaboration from the Kemal series; again, very little info.

That would be one of those hollow-handled junk blades with the saw teeth and the bottle opener on the back.

I was given this beauty by my fleamarket loving grandma.

J85909266, thank you for sharing this with us.

Some of you might think this is a cheaply-made POS. However, it turns out that this is actually a Chinese-made “UTO” knife.

Because I really liked the looks of this knife I did some research and was able to track down the manufacturer.
This knife is made in China by the Toi Leht company in Guangzhou.
The translation is not exact, but the abbreviation stands for Unidentified Turd-like Object.

LOL! What I like about that one is the wall-hanging gadget on the back of it. Hanging this thing on a wall or smearing feces on a wall; two activities only separated by minute degrees. :D

Well, if not the deerhorn knives, maybe these windfire wheels

Undoubtedly, I'm not aware of all the vast array of Chinese weaponry, but I am pretty well educated on the subject and I can't identify them except maybe as a variation on these. Can anyone help? My guess is that they're an original design.

Let us not judge too quickly on these knives until we find out how they whittle.

I practice YinStyle Bagua and have seen the 'deer horn' knives before. I've also seen those 'wind fire' knives, too - which I believe to be just a fancy variation of the deer horn knives. From what I gather, any two knives or spikes or 'deer horns' used at the same time in both hands qualifies as a "BGZ weapon" (as does the heavier versions of the saber, staff, and broadsword). Ugly / weird? Indeed.
