I think Bradley is a strange duck. Personally, I can't see paying that much for a Bradley when a Buck/Mayo 172 is even cheaper! I've seen the adverts for the Alias, and I think they'd be fine if they just didn't mention the Sebenza at all- outside of a small mention as to the origin of the idea for the Alias.
All of this, of course, assumes that the Sebenza is the top of the line knife wise. While it used to be, I don't think it is anymore. A classic, for sure. Well made, without a doubt. King of the hill? Depending on what you want from it, no.
Then again, there's all that drama over the CS knife that looks just like a Strider. I think people should design their own stuff, and I think that people should understand where a design comes from. However, we also have to be honest with ourselves and realize that a lot of the reason we don't like knockoffs is that it reduces the exclusivity of our own stuff. Its like explaining how much we spend on knives, and then having our chum pull out the knockoff and trying to explain the differences. If s/he really cared about the differences they'd have bought the original. Obviously they don't, so they bought the "look" without thought to what the consequences might be. The same thing happens in fashion all the time. It all depends upon a person's priorities.
