I would like to see a drop point BK7.
how about the becker brute or patrol machete?
Just curious about something. How much bigger is the BK1 in terms of length than the BK9? I get that KA-BAR is restricted by the size limitations of the machinery they've got on hand, but just how big are we talking?

I think that would be the 12....or close enough.Me, too.

IMO (and almost everyone else who owns one), the 12 is a GREAT blade; and is very much Ethan's design. Weights? Don't know if they do much, but don't detract, either. Blade shape/size is near perfect...also IMO. It's just a great blade, and my favorite Becker (although the 9 & the 4 are close behind). Haven't had a chance to handle a 10, but I have a 2 and the 12 beats it hands down, and since I bought mine used, it was a very good value. Even new, a good value, IMO. Worth considering and saving up a little extra for. Most owners of the 12 would probably concur, I believe.I always forget about the BK12. I always think of it as the Ritter knife even though it is a Ritter/Becker collaboration. So far the price and the brass weights have kept me away from it. I know Rowan heat treat is great but I haven't been let down by K-bar's Becker's yet.
