I'd more like to see an aftermarket blue or bronze anodized clip to match the thumb stud and lanyard pin hardware.
I'd like to see some blue anodized clips to match the thumb stud and lanyard pin as well. That would be amazing.
Mid-sized Insingo with 3.25 " blade.
THIS. VERY MUCH THIS.

I like the idea of a blacked out Umnum as well.

Looks like higher edge retention blade steel is the clear winner.

I understand that steels like S90V, S110V, M390, CTS204p, CTS 20p etc. might not have the toughness of S35vn especially heat treated soft at 58-59. S35vn is a very good mix of toughness, corrosion resistance, and edge holding, and it's not a bad steel. Look at Ankerson's cutting tests though and a lot of steels these days are SPANKING S35vn at 59. In my experience it's not much harder to touch up those premium steels than S35vn in the field, a full re-profiling sure that sucks, but I doubt many try that in the field.

These days there's just too many options both production and mid-tech that offer superior steels with much better edge holding, if they were breaking and chipping all the time people would stop buying them and companies would stop making them.
