Hi All,
Can anyone tell me how to avoid fuzzy photos. Tried different focus,
adjustments, portrait,auto-focus, and image stabilization. Tried different distances, all quiet close to get detail, to show condition of knife.
Advice appreciated.
Thanks

Hello Esav,
Thought since subject of photos have been bought up, thought that it would be ok to ask questions about photos. Next time i will pay more attention to original subject. Sorry.

Macro is great to have, if available. When I take pictures I borrow the SWMBO's camera that has manual settings for shutter speed and exposure and whatnot.

Now I don't have a lot of skill as a photographer, but the thing I have found essential is the tripod! Steadies the camera and allows you to play with the settings and take clear pictures in even non-ideal lighting. Best purchase I ever made in terms of photographing.

(And let's not forget asking the wife to explain to me how the camera actually works..) :D

Buy a small canon for under $200. After owning one, Ill never buy anything else.

they might cost just a skosh over $200 but I honestly think a decent camera has one of the greatest values one can achieve from any material possession. Esp when you compare it to the non digital cams.

Scanners can work pretty well too. They are not as versatile as a camera, nor lend themselves to artistic images, but they can do the job. I got mine bundled, for free, with a previous computer. You can probably pick one up cheap.

all da best,

Hi GZB,
Do not have a macro setting.

What model camera please?

Fuzzy photos = deal killers. How convenient camera phones are now, and how potentially unprofitable that convenience will affect a sale.

Just say no to Cell Phone Photos in a sale. :p

+1 on the macro.
