I handled one at their parking lot sale in may. I thought the blade was kinda thin for the size of the knife, and considering my luck with the rajahII I passed on it.

Cool slow motion cutting...! Was this your own video, if so what was the music on the cutting part? It was pretty good.

That was a really cool video! Great job, and it looks like an awesome knife. If only I could win the lottery and buy several of them....

Thé à la menthe (The lazer dance version) by La Caution. It's from the Oceans 12 soundtrack.

The slow-mo is cool, but the best bottle cuts are all on empty bottles in my opinion.

I really like this knife and may have to get one at some point. One thing I don't care for with my Rajah-2 is that when I grip it close to the pivot, I depress the lock and cause the lock-up to loosen. That basically limits the grip options for me. I'd like to handle this one before taking the plunge I think.

I EDC a C/S XL Voyager as well as a few BM's.

But do own and have carried the R-1 and the R-2,they get LOTS of comments as does the Voyagers.

Many are surprised that they are that sharp and still usable for real time work.

I carry a CCW so the blades are for daily use as well as for S/D if that should ever become an issue.

I was thinking about the Espanada and now its a given that I will have one - thanks for the video as it was well done.

Interestingly, the Espada XL (7.5") is no where near as large as the Natchez (11.75"). In truth, it is much closer in size to the Recon Scout (RC) so I think I would like to make a few quick comparisons. The Espada XL and the RS both have a 7.5" blade but the Espada blade is 3.8mm while the RS 8mm. The Espada weighs 15 oz (!!!) while the RS weighs just 12.7 oz. The San Mai RS uses San Mai steel (obviously) and the Espada uses AUS 8. The Espada retails for $470 and the RS for $390. My point is, if you need a blade this big, go fixed blade. Stronger cheaper and usually better steel.

That's cool. I really liked the originals that they put out, but I couldn't justify spending that much on a knife that I couldn't carry 5 days of the week (the people at work would panic). Also, being left-handed, they kinda screwed me like other companies by only putting a clip on for right side carry.

Any idea if the Large G10 Espada is out and what the typical price is guys? If it's less than 150 I may just get one this weekend.

Congratulations on the new knife.
