I was under the idea that I had a real H&K Snody knife by Benchmade. Now that I see there is this "other" version, it has me wondering if mine is fake.

I believe the Ganzos use their own logo. If yours says HK, I'd imagine it is legit.

was the swedge added or stock? I was also thinking Poliwog, but if it was that much longer and didnt have a swedge I have no idea, the alignment of the opening hole and blade grind throws me for a loop.

The swedge is stock and it's not the poliwog.

Another hint: They are no longer being made and most people think they are ugly as sin.
