garage sale find

Spyderco tuff. 3v. I lost mine and miss it.

Winner winner chicken dinner. It was called the Schempp Tuff when I bought it, but it's since been shortened to the Tuff. Mine is one of the earlier ones with the very stiff lockbar. And I've had a custom display scale and backspacer made for it.

I've had a few Kershaws...nothing bad to say about them (My dad had quite a few also until I bought him a Delica), but I'm not big on assisted opening. I much prefer knives without, because they can be just as fast but you have the option of a slow sheeple friendly deployment. That and I find Spyderco knives to be a little better regarding ergonomics, among other things.

Yeah I'm pretty happy with Kershaw and Benchmade collection and after this garage sale purchase I'm going to start my spyderco first one will be a Para 2 then that badass tuff you got there

ParaMilitary2 is exactly where I'd start.

This is 2 short of my current collection (My local B&M store offered me 40% off on a Fluted Titanium Native 5 today and I couldn't pass that up...$230 CDN out the door made Spydie number 45). I've sold and traded a few (And bought several as gifts, and I'm not counting their excellent kitchen knives either), but my current collection stands at 45.

And just to make your first choice easier...
