I started sanding on the handles/tang today. Your sanding tip makes a lot of sense once I’m actually doing it. It’s pretty easy to tell when you’ve gotten out all the scratches when you alternate directions. It seems like it’s coming along nicely.Good deal, ya bet. That changing grits at 90 degrees really makes it easy cause ya can see all the scratches ya thought ya got but didn't! Yeah we've been busy branding our ownselves. That bay colt my son is on had never been outside before. He had maybe five rides on him.

Yeah, it’s branding season here too. We did the first bunch on Friday. We have cattle spread out all over the place, so we have about 8 more groups to process over the next month. I’m hoping getting started on them will be the rain dance that we need. It’s nice not having muddy corrals, but we need rain. Although it looks like we’re a lot greener than you guys are.
