• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Gardening/yardwork what traditional do you carry?

I forgot to mention a good gardening knife I have used. The Okapi (large one with the ringlock) or the Kudu. Dirt cheap and if you have to do something really nasty with it, well its not like they cost an arm and a leg to replace.

a cheap schrade folding knife for getting trash from around the weedeater spindle, a pair of felco pruners for removing branches on trees where the work needs to be tidy or is in close quarters and a machete for everything else.

Gardening/yardwork what traditional do you carry?

Pretty much whatever is in my pocket. Doing yard work and fixits is the biggest reason I carry a traditional. The blades are a more useful shape than those of most modern knives. If I think it's going to get really scuzzy, I might specifically carry a Buck 301.

Opinel 8, because it has no spring or liners to gunk up. It has become my go to dirty work knife. Love the blade shape and handle, too.

Case Sodbuster Jr. or Buck 307.

Then I keep the old BSA scout knife close by, to open bottled beverages afterwards.
