Ive seen Marthinus's thread on Gareth's work, but I was curious to see if anyone else here has some of his work and what they think about it.

Pictures would be great!

I'm also curious as to how they hold up to use (specifically the TI frame lock face), and what things people like and what they dislike about his knives.

I'm also curious to know if they have any blade play at all (even if its just flex in the frame lock).

Thanks in advance.

disclosure: In no way do I suspect that there is any problems with Gareth's work, I'm just curious of this information from the Users/customers.

Well he should be almost done with mine, so ill let you know as soon as it get's in. Last thing he told me was that everything was ready that he was just waiting for g10.

You might like to check the forum in my sig line. Gareth posts there fairly regularly.

I have one of his knives and several on order. His work is excellent.........

PM me if you have any questions.

Steven

Have his hunter version with ti/g10. Very comfy in hand. Smooth opening. Very thin cutting edge....cuts like a laser. Been opening/closing it a lot when bored/watching tv......no lock movement...still55%. Enjoy the rwl 34 steel, takes a fine edge. No blade play on mine....as good as my best sebenza/military. Needs loctite on pivot screw. Very happy so far (6months)

thanks to all who have replied. I too have a warlock model on order and I was thinking of ordering his voodoo model.

I'm glad to hear that his knives don't have play, and I'm glad it has been compared to a sebenza, because that's ultimately what I'm trying to replace/kick out of my collection.

do any of you have picture to tide me over till I get mine. :D

also, i have been to SAblade.com and the thread he showed the build along really drew me in. I had to have one, so I have one on order, and if I like that one a lot, Ill order a voodoo.

Someone in another forum called Gareths knives the love child of a Sabenza and ...... A few other knives.

Amazing knives--does anyone have contact information/order/pricing information? I can't find it, and I'm interested in my options for ordering.

Cheers,
Daniel

You can contact Gareth on:

gbull1985 at gmail.com

He is nice and easy to chat with. Best to speak prices with him as depends if you want a standard or tweaked version also if you want any of the extras like I did.

Gareth just sent me another pic of my Warlock that is enroute.

Stabilized Sparked Maple Burl with a thin G10 liner under it to reduce wear, keep it strong and have a good anchor for the internal parts.

Well it arrived this morning and my first thoughts are:

Fit & Finish - Superb
Lock up - Bank Vault
Action - Buttery smooth
Sharpness - Laser +

I love Gareth's work and definetely should get one for myself!

Awesome--that one looks amazing with the burl side.

I'm really itching to get on Gareth's list for a small Warlock. Here's hoping he emails me back soon! I don't want to bother him too much, but I haven't heard from him yet...

Cheers,
Daniel

He can do just about anything. I have seen his folders, fixed blades art knives and cooking knives (gyuto's etc).
