My friend sent me link to this thread and I have to say I´m impressed how much work is behind and how much in front of you :). It´s great to see pics of your knives and straight comparison between WarLock and Shamwaris. Hope you get this thread updated!

Btw what´s that Big WarLock, mate :confused:? I always thought you´re making WarLocks with 3-inch blade and now I can see a bigger one. Hell, do you even understand how difficult it is to choose one of your knives for order and you make it even more complicated :mad: :)??!! You know, I like them all...

And keep using RWL-34, it is really a great steel. As I wrote you in email, it´s my favorite and I don´t know a better balanced stainless steel - great edge holding, great toughness and surprisingly easy to sharpen... But I understand why you came with other steels as well, there´s a strong demand obviously ;).

I´m looking forward to any news in this thread (and you can drop me a line whenever you want). Regards!

Its good to see the knives are holding up just fine. you probably use yours a lot harder than I would ever use mine too :thumbup:
 
great comparison vid, marthinus! i always look to you for critiques and reviews on Gareth's stuff. I know you've had those for a while now and that you use your knives hard. I'm not surprised at all to see how well Gareth's work has held up, he truly does make superlative knives.
 
Just bumping to say I chatted with Gazza, great guy, and I am on his list for the fix bladed version. I am excited.
 
Still waiting...I see lots of progress and prototypes. They all look great. Just wondering when I will hear the final news of my name coming up on the shipment list.
