Gas thieves

I tried siphoining gas out of my 1980 firebird back in the day and it seemed like there was a block in the inlet to prevent it. I thought all cars had that? Maybe thats why my toyota seems to get the same mileage as my 455 powered firebird lately?

i've been waiting to hear more stories like these lately with prices per gallon.

i imagine "drive-offs" are through the roof.

stick a rattle snake or something under the cap.works for me.

I own a tire shop and i have alot of old guys hanging out all the time. One old guy who was a farner told me someone was stealing his tractor gas out of his storage tank. He was sure it was a nieghbor down the road so the next time it needed filling he put diesel in it... in a few day his nieghbors car wouldnt run...........Good for him i say.

Some do and some don't.
Not sure about mine.I had a 87 Subaru that did.You could siphon around 1/4 tank out even with it in if it had a full tank.Must have something to do with suction.
