Hola everybody! Quite a while back this style from below the equator caught my eye so here’s another Gaucho blade up for your consideration. Hope you like it!

8670 - Dimensions - 5/32”” x 12 1/4” OAL and 7 1/4” from tip to bolster and the height is 1 1/2”. There’s even filework on the spine for a little latin flare! Hand sanded to 600 grit for a clean satin finish. Paul Bos Heat Treat to 60/61. Balances on the middle spacer and the edge was .010” before sharpening.

The spine is well rounded for a comfortable thumb and the shallow swedge flares at the tip for extra strength.

The handle features a copper bolster and pommel, elk, ironwood and leather with copper/yellow and black G10 spacers. It’s finished to 1500 grit and buffed.

The premium sheath features the real Gaucho man and is a snug fit with great retention yet easy to deploy. So even if you’re not gonna go Gaucho’ing anytime soon this would still make a terrific BBQ blade and be right at home anywhere knives are used.

Hi cbach8tw cbach8tw thanks for your kind comment. This is one of my favorite knife patterns and the Gaucho man is one of my favorite leather carvings but that little face is tough. I can only do it under magnification.
