I had my Disclaimer, complete with "but thanks for doing this, anyway" all ready unti I ran into this sentence:

At which point my Disclaimer done flew the coop almost before I knew what happened, because I'm a sucker for jackknives, Texas Jacks, and Case's older bone (the latter two of which I don't have), and this is one beauty of a knife.

I had all my people home for the first time in a while for Thanksgiving, but this is the only picture I took of the animate that day, my boyz on their camouflage blanket after the festivities had concluded:

This is a little spot that caught my eye during my visit to the island of St. Lucia, where I married my wonderful wife.

A favorite knife of late, the GEC 79 brings a little of everything.

I echo your thoughts about the Traditionals forum---the membership here is truly great, and you are a prime example!

You mentioned pet pics---here is our rescue Pointer, Mia, staring off into space (she does that a lot) as I get ready to barbeque the traditional Thanksgiving fajitas (our family has traditions that are a little untraditional).

I may stray from here every now and then, but the lure of bone and carbon steel always bring me back eventually.

Here's a pic of the only Case I currently own, a small Texas Jack in CV. It's also one of my favorite traditionals, and has seen even more use since this picture was taken.

I like it so much I actually want to get another one for when this one wears out.

I'd be honored to be counted in for this one, especially as I don't own a Texas jack, at least yet.

Funny about "things". My wife "lost" her wedding ring last night. A careful search of her truck revealed it. I had to remind her that my love to her was not bound in the ring and that I would still and always love her even if we hadn't been able to find it.

So, you better plan on hanging around at least another 15 years, hear!

One of my favorite places is the saddle of my trusty motorcycle, one of my favorite places to go to on my motorcycle is the Canadian Rockies - here is a picture taken near Lake Louise, a beautiful place!
