That is a beautiful knife Duane and a terrific giveaway. But I've already been a beneficiary of your generosity so instead of entering I wanted to show the folks here what kind of fellow you are.
Folks, not long after I became active here I happened to mention that I collect Zippos (who'd a thought?!?) and I saw a photo of Duane's with a Zippo and remarked on it. As a longtime collector (since 1994, 500+ lighters), one that had escaped me was a Reddy Kilowatt, which I've wanted since I started collecting, you see my late father was an electrician and I grew up with that symbol all over everything that was his, including a Zippo he had. When butane came out dad must have tossed all his fluid lighters as neither mom nor I could find them after he passed.
Not long after I commented on the Zippo in Duane's picture he contacted me. Before I knew it, this arrived in the mail:
He asked if I would just send any knife of my choice in trade. Well, I was overwhelmed, I had been searching for a Reddy Kilowatt for years and here a mint in box 1960 one shows up on my doorstep! Well, I wasn't sure what to send since I didn't have that extensive a collection, but from reading his posts I figured a Case pocket hunter and a Taylor's Eye Witness Barlow would be good. Duane let me know when they arrived and was pleased. Cool! But there's more.
After a few weeks I received another message, did I have any Scouts that could use a knife? Of course I did, so Duane sent me another package. Two knives from his collection, and the Taylor's Barlow too. He took the humble Barlow and made it look a million bucks (or I should say pounds, Jack Black and ScruffUK will know what I mean

)
So after our September Court of Honor, I presented three Scouts with new knives courtesy of a gentleman they do not know. They were appreciative, and so am I:
So that is why this isn't an entry. Duane, sorry it took so darn long for me to post these pictures, and I hope you don't mind, but I've wanted to properly thank you in public on this forum. You are a great guy and I really appreciate it!
Sincerely,
Griff
