Congrats to
mitch13
on his glorious victory!

Thanks again, Tim, for the very generous and extremely fun GAW!

I'm ashamed that I didn't even get a post in singing the praises of Jersey Junction in Gaslight Village, East Grand Rapids, MI

and fondly reminiscing about 60 years ago with shakes, malts, and multi-dip cones at Dean's Ice Cream in Plainwell, MI

or with gallon jugs of root beer from Dog & Suds by the Gun Lake Dam to make Black Cows on hot summer nights after a day of baling hay!

The Les Cheneaux Islands are indeed very cool. I used to love kayaking among the islands when I was younger and spryer. (Now my back bothers me if I kayak for more than 30 minutes at a time, and I can't get far in 30 minutes!)

Never noticed that about the fudge in Moose Tracks!!Yes we do! I'm almost certain Zorro was a Moose Tracker. The fudge so often forms a "Z" in the vanilla.
I once flew low over the southern coast of Michigan's UP in a private plane and noticed that the Cedarville area is truly gorgeous. From the air in summer that island group looked very much like tropical Caribbean islands, very picturesque.
Have a good week my friend.
