GAW * GEC Office Knife * GAW

Not an entry, please. Nice idea for a GAW.

A couple pics of my refuge. One of my favorite places on the planet. I consider myself lucky to have it.

Before I retired I worked from home in the evenings and on the weekends occasionally, usually the result of working too many hours, with too many deadlines. Now it's my no stress zone.

My wonderful wife is forever threatening to add, change, or rearrange it. I tell her "no way" it's my room. Do what you want with the rest of the house, it's yours to make it any way you want.
So far, so good!

Very generous. What a beautiful knife! My daughter would love that. She is 17, but has a nice desk in her room, with my old leather office chair. I would like to enter for her, if that's okay.

This morning the electricity went out at my workplace, so I brought my laptop and files to my "home office":

I smudged the information on my paperwork to protect the innocent. Or the guilty. Or both! It is easier to work at my office, though. My two dogs and two cats want lots of attention!
Vizsla, brother? It's too bright outside painting this house canary yellow. I can't see much right now lol

Very nice, Gary. I love the paneling, pictures, lampshade, leather desk chair, and that sword letter opener.:thumbsup:

Love everything about this room!

pmek5 pmek5 Thanks again for the opportunity. My entry post is #47. If I should be so lucky to win, I'd like it to go to @Jack Black . I'd be happy to pick up the postage as well.

Lots of great GAW's going on here. With all this shelter in place, & peoples lives / jobs being affected I thought it would be nice for another one.
Your office may be at home right now, and maybe its on tractor, in a truck, in a first response vehicle, or even the cockpit of a plane. If your retired you probably have a office type place at home, and or a workbench. Where ever it may be (or not right now), I hope this GAW will bring a little fun to those who wish to participate.

Here are the rules:
1. Please participate only if you are a regular here in Traditional's (50 or more posts).
If your new here, but are a traditional enthusiast - your good.
2. If your thinking I'll make some great money if I win this & sell it - Don't Enter.
3. If you already have this specific knife - Don't enter please. Give someone else a chance.
4. To Participate: Just post "I'm in". First spot gets a second entry. You can post a picture of your current office if you like.
5. I will let this run for a week or so, and then draw a number from a random generator.

Thanks for participating!

Here's what you will win - Brand new in the tube 2017 #13 Office knife.

Oh boy!
I'm in!

I've been after a good vintage one off the bay and really wanted the GEC when it came out but it just wasn't in the stars.

Thanks much!

Thanks for the generous GAW, Tim; handsome knife!!:cool::cool::thumbsup:

I usually don't enter GAWs with a GEC for a prize, because I think lots of folks appreciate them more than I do. But I fully support this trend of entering a GAW for someone else, and I'd like to do that here. If my number comes up, please send the knife to Alan joeradza joeradza .

I really miss my on-campus office. Here are a couple of pics of the home space that's been my office/online teaching studio for the past 7 weeks. It used to be one end of the basement laundry room, with a chest freezer tucked between a shower stall on the left and the hallway wall on the right:

But each weekday from 2-4pm, MATH 222 is broadcast from here:

The sawhorse is a surprisingly comfortable seat! After class, I clear it all out so we have access to the freezer until it's time to set up for the next day. I actually do most of my class prep at the kitchen table one floor up.

Best wishes to all the entrants! :D:thumbsup::thumbsup:

That is unbelievably generous Gary. That's what I get for my math teacher being my all time favorite, even if it was 60 years ago.
