I’m in - great knife! Thanks, OH
A few have caught it, and several other teachers have mentioned it.
They ask why there's a mistake on the poster? I say, "That's what makes it funny!"
I think I'm the only one that finds the humor in it though.
Having no examples of GEC, I'm in!
I'm in … can't resist the opportunity for such a fine knife. Thanks.
Not an entry, please. Nice idea for a GAW.
A couple pics of my refuge. One of my favorite places on the planet. I consider myself lucky to have it.
Before I retired I worked from home in the evenings and on the weekends occasionally, usually the result of working too many hours, with too many deadlines. Now it's my no stress zone.
My wonderful wife is forever threatening to add, change, or rearrange it. I tell her "no way" it's my room. Do what you want with the rest of the house, it's yours to make it any way you want.
So far, so good!
Vizsla, brother? It's too bright outside painting this house canary yellow. I can't see much right now lol
Very nice, Gary. I love the paneling, pictures, lampshade, leather desk chair, and that sword letter opener.
that looks like a wonderful den. Love the vintage Pfleuger reels.
The dog is a Lab mix.
I play the game with your permission
Love everything about this room!
@pmek5 Thanks again for the opportunity. My entry post is #47. If I should be so lucky to win, I'd like it to go to @Jack Black . I'd be happy to pick up the postage as well.
Now THAT's a true Man Cave.
I’m in. Great idea.
Awesome GAW, I’m in. My office could really use some sprucing up and this knife just might be the ticket!
I've been after a good vintage one off the bay and really wanted the GEC when it came out but it just wasn't in the stars.
Very nice! I’m in. Even though I have been retired about 9 1/2 years I spend plenty of time gaming in my “office”.
Thanks for the generous GAW, Tim; handsome knife!!
I usually don't enter GAWs with a GEC for a prize, because I think lots of folks appreciate them more than I do. But I fully support this trend of entering a GAW for someone else, and I'd like to do that here. If my number comes up, please send the knife to Alan @joeradza.
I really miss my on-campus office. Here are a couple of pics of the home space that's been my office/online teaching studio for the past 7 weeks. It used to be one end of the basement laundry room, with a chest freezer tucked between a shower stall on the left and the hallway wall on the right:
But each weekday from 2-4pm, MATH 222 is broadcast from here:
The sawhorse is a surprisingly comfortable seat! After class, I clear it all out so we have access to the freezer until it's time to set up for the next day. I actually do most of my class prep at the kitchen table one floor up.
Best wishes to all the entrants!
That is unbelievably generous Gary. That's what I get for my math teacher being my all time favorite, even if it was 60 years ago.
