WELL, my brand spanking (and I do mean spanking) new Tension came in the mail yesterday and I've been very busy, wanting to give an accurate and honest testing review of it. So here goes... It's a solid knife with thick liners and a thick linerlock, very comparable to a Spyderco Tenacious. With a little oil it flips great and locks up solid every time with no play either way. COULD have been sharper out of the package. COULD have had a slight ramp on the G10 for easier thumb access, but other than that, I think this is a work horse.

So on to the testing. OBVIOUSLY, first thing I wanted to do was kill something with it - the bigger the better. So I went down to the docks this morning and caught the first ship out and came back with this beauty. I'll eat good tonight!

Then I figured I'd build something with it. First thing you need is lumber, right? So I went out into the woods and cut down the first decent tree I could find. My buddy there said he'd help carry the wood back to my place, but then changed his mind...

I started with the 4 bed 2 bath, but I was running late for work, so figured this would have to do.

The Tension performed well through all these tests with hardly a mark or need of sharpening. I can whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to give one away!
Thanks again to Todd for the very generous GAW! The knife is much appreciated and WILL be used again! I just saw the movie Revenant, and think Di Caprio would have fared MUCH better with that grizzly if he'd had one of these to begin with, and I'd like to prove it....
