Thank you for your kindness. Feeling a bit strange to post here, because I'm so new, but hey, it's 4 prizes. I'm in ;)

My favourite traditional is my Opinel 8 Inox Mountain Legends - La Rosace than I got as a birthday gift from my fiancee:

That's new but traditional. For a truly old gem, here's my Wenger Soldat 1939:

And oddly enough I'd think I'd prefer to be 3rd or 4th.lol
Thank you for the chance. It really is the quality and
community of people here that make this site great.
Never stops amazing me. Happy ThanksGiving!

Oh yeah, and I'd post a pic but seem to be doing that wrong somehow...
Sorry... :o

I'm in as well, here's a picture of one of my favorites I got from right here on the forums.

And I'm not sure how the friend entry goes, but here's an entry for my friend RaptureRaptor, without a doubt the nicest Australian fellow I know...unless you count Mick Dundee, but I don't really know him:D

Case Swayback Gent with Pocketworn Red Jigged bone and wharncliffe blade. In case you hadn't noticed, I've got a bit of a thing for that blade shape.

This is literally my only traditional. It was my great-grandfather's. He served as a cavalry veterinarian in the US Army during WWI. I believe this was bought after that time, but we have no info on its origins other than that it belonged to Pappy and he used it quite a lot.
If you can't read the maker's mark, it says
