GAW: Time to give back with a SwayBack Jack! WINNER WINNER!

Not a entry. Great idea for a GAW theme  I would like every one to give a MAM a try. They are inexpensive light weight work horses.

I call that one my bagel knife. Use it first to slice the bagel, then to spread the cream cheese.

Edit: Withdrawing (I already won one of your GAWs and would not feel right winning a second.)

Thanks for the opportunity!
I have two of these. I am trying to decide if I want to give the extra one to my brother or buddy....

Great idea, and thanks for your generosity! All the other entries are excellent as well.

My own entry, looking over the drawer, is the Douk Douk. Appealing in its brutish, warthog ruggedness, it's thin, easy to get screamingly sharp, cuts like nobody's business, and rides well in slacks or jeans.

(If the pic doesn't work, I'll edit from my computer in the morning. Here goes...)

Thank a lot for the marvellous chance to get hold of that magnificent pattern, I've been handling a swayback gent in stainless last week and is a great knife, even better with two blades and cv steel

I'll recommend everyone to try out a Taramundi, they are one of the best cutters out there.
Although there is metallurgical controversy around it, empirically I have noticed a difference in the fineness the edge can achieve on forged steel vs machined. or maybe on the ease in doing it.

Thanks for the chance! Please count me in. This old 70's Browning 4018 would be mine. Best lockback to edc. :)

This is my most carried knife. I like the 77 Yankee jack so much that I bought a Northfield bone and an ebony clip. I carry one of the three every day. I know many of you have tried them and liked them. The last of them are depleting fast of dealer sites. Perfect size. This knife also converted me from wanting single blades only to wanting pens. This osage is a workhorse and I chose it because it the most pleasant W & T. It actually sprints and sings! Thanks for a very generous opportunity. The wrap around spring and CV steel, all great!

Dan...not an entry either. Great GAW, especially knowing you have sold some nice edc's and saving for a new one. Then to top it off a GAW. But glad you are keeping a SBJ for yourself. They are good carries!!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks for your generosity!

I only have three traditional pocket knives (but want many many many more)... but this 8OT is the one I'd want others to experience. This one has a lot of sentimental value as it was my grandfather's.... and yes it sees pocket time and gets used regularly.

Thanks for the generous GAW.
The Tribal Spear is one I wish everyone could experience. About as close to a custom as a production knife can get.

I've been lurking around the Porch for a while now, but haven't said much. My dad always loved a serpentine stockman and this was one of his favorites. He cut up many apples for me as a kid with this old John Primble. The shield fell off over 50 years ago, so dad carved his initial in that spot.

So I hope this qualifies as an entry here, but the knife every knife lover should experience is one carried by someone close to them that shows a lot of history. This knife is one of the reasons I'm a knife nut today.
