Gayle Bradley 2

It's a bit strange that the Air is more expensive than the GB 2 but I'm not going to complain about it.

Yes, yes it is. More reasons why I like Gayle Bradley. Now if only the Tac 1 comes in sub-$200, I'll be a very happy person.

I agree. Though I realize lotso-peeps didn't like the "shallow" choil on the GB, I've always been a fan of that particular feature. I've always liked being able to choke right up to the edge on a knife. Especially one that gets the kind of workout that I give my GBs. But I'll live. I suppose.
 
I started thinking about getting a GB but I'm thinking I'll wait for the GB2 now
 
Does this mean that the original will be discontinued? I hope not as it is one of those knives that I have always debated getting and just never pulled the trigger. They both look awesome, but I slightly prefer the looks of the old one. Its just kinda unique.
 
This thread really should be merged with the other one on page two...

The GB2 will indeed replace the GB once it hits production. Spyderco will move entirely over to the GB2. I'm fairly certain that there are enough GBs out there to keep their price low for a while even after they go out of production.

I believe that there's enough of a difference between the two to merit having both models available, but who knows. I'm just me.

Yep. I'm in the group that struggled with the choil! I like the lines on the 2 now more as well.

It looks to be a smoking deal! :thumbup:
 
I got charged for the GB2 by KW. I hope that means they are shipping soon.
 
I pre-ordered from KW and the same thing happened. I wouldn't worry about it at all KW is super legit. Come onnnn GB2!
 
And I bet they told you they will come in when they come in... At least it's better than being told next year when I asked about the m4 para2.

Reread the last posts. People have said their cards had been charged. Knifeworks doesn't charge cards til they are about to ship
 
I guess we will just have to wait and see..I have a pre-order in. It would be sweet if maybe next week they could come out but I don't see them coming out till like mid July..
 
I'll be looking forward to reading some opinions on the GB2. It sure looks like a nice design. I'm a big fan of the 50/50 choil, but I can overlook that feature if everything else is right :D
