That's strange. Knifeworks is a very reputable company, unlike some of the other company's with their pre-order horror stories. I would be very surprised if they followed through with the financial transaction without the knife being ready to ship. I'm not saying that it's impossible, I'm just saying that that is not their normal operating procedure.

I was just going off what people had said. I like KnifeWorks. I plan to buy a GB2.Nah, they precharge but it doesn't finalize until it is ready to ship. Pretty standard there.
Even if it was the case that a business makes you pay for a preorder I wouldnt call it shady.
How can 46% off MSRP, free priority mail shipping be "real shady". smh.
