Gayle Bradley impressive

I miss mine. I didn't much care for it at the time, but I've since changed my opinions a lot on the various kinds of knives I prefer for different tasks.

I think a Ti (possibly fluted) Millie, a Gayle Bradley, and a Sage 2 are on my definitely needed wish-list.

I used to not care for the looks of the GB at all. Now Its my favorite knife.

SAME HERE

i thought it looked like a bird beak, but after using it and seeing how functional it is, i've really grown to love it.

What frightened me about the GB when I first saw pics, was that there was no "guard". Little did I realize that the handle was so well designed that it was never really an issue. So I got one to try out the M4, it wasn't even two weeks when I bought another because I liked it so much.

I just finished sharpening mine. I do love it, however I do need to keep it oiled pretty much constantly this time of year, when I'm working and my cargo shorts get all sweaty, the M-4 rusts pretty quickly. though its really not that big of a deal. I just rub the blade with a little steel wool and its like new again. I'll be honest, I would prefer zdp, but the strength of the blade and lock make it worth dealing with oiling the blade

really thats weird. my gb doesnt rust at all and its extremely hot and humid where i live. you near salt water?

My slightly used but not abused GB arrived today... and all I can say is NICE!!! Need to touch up the edge but it is built like a rock!

How long have you been using it without a sharpen? Just curious

I've bought it May 2nd, 2011 and it's still going strong.

I shouldn't really say never sharpen... I slice paper length wise, and if it catches or drags, I strop it on an old leather belt and it works great again!

Not really, but sweat makes steel rust almost as much as salt water. I've gone on hikes in the summer up mountains when I'm sweating for like 10+ hours and I've had rust spots on cpm S30V blades. again not bad rust but surface spots.

I have posted this before until people are sick of it, but here it is anyway. Modded by Brother Krein to reveal the Spydie hole and liner lock. Sweetness.

Doesn't look much different. Little leaner maybe. Anybody know what steel? Any other info?

Spyderco hasn't made a better 'bang for the buck' knife than the GB in Quite a while IMO. The Manix 2 with 154cm wasn't bad either.:thumbup:
