Spyderco hasn't made a better 'bang for the buck' knife than the GB in Quite a while IMO. The Manix 2 with cm154 wasn't bad either. :thumbup::thumbup:

Just got my Gayle Bradley. EASILY the best knife spyderco has produced. I have or have owned the the police, delica, native, and para.

Rock solid lock, CF scale, ergo design, nice blade metal, just about perfect out of box factory knife.

its the best knife that I have ever owned. (highest quality) not always the best choice for every instance, but no blade is.

i love mine, carry it a bunch.... fights for my pocket with a caly 3 and a zdp-189 stretch cf.... only problem is if you hit the spine at all the lock will disengage and the blade will slice to the bone.....

That SHOULD NOT be happening with your GB. Call up Spyderco and get that fixed before it's too late.

I would think a little file work to make the lock engage a bit tighter would stop this

I forced a vinegar patina on mine and took a dremmel to the lock area to make it more accessible, and I would have to say it is now my favorite knife. I finally decided that if i put a patina on it and made it easier to get to the lock to close the blade I would use it more. Once i stopped babying it I was very glad. This is not a knife to be used lightly, I can do just about anything with this blade and not be worried at all. It has become a real go to knife.

Ok so I got a gayle Bradley finally I know lol. Anyways I am very very impressed with the fit and finish of this knife. It's the smoothest production folder I've ever handled. Yes even smoother than the holy sebenza. Fit and finish is perfect, lock up is solid solid solid. So smooth and so solid of a lock up it's almost unbelievable to me. I think the tight lock up is due to how deep the blade sits in the handles and that massive liner lock. Overall I'm very impressed to the point where I am going to get another one just for the hell of it. I'd like a gayle Bradley in s90v with carbon Kevlar scales next.....wouldn't that be amazing?!!! Thanks spyderco and Gayle Bradley for this fantastic knife!!!!
