Gayle Bradley weight loss

Where is the balance point now?

It's maybe an 3/16th further up the handle. The balance felt wrong for me, I have been spoiled by the mili and judge all other larger folders by it in the hopes of having something new and comparable. The mili is just the "one" for me and should just stop buying other knives.

That being sad- is the lock bar not weakened? Just curious!

I'm with Joe above about knives being the property of their owner, but I think the point remains, and the fact that it still sounds the same when it locks open doesn't address the question whether the lockbar has been structurally weakened. The only way to determine that, though, is probably destructive testing (test to failure).

I cleaned up my work today....

Good job! I felt that you would return to the knife at some point.

I can imagine that Spyderco's R&D department might look at this for future run of Bradleys.....

Sal?

I cleaned up my work today, I had some spare time and I'm glad I bothered, it removed some more material. I weighed the knife at the grocery store on 2 different scales....138 grams, not a whole lot but very noticeable. The liners are still stiff and solid. Me likes.

That'll teach people to whine, you did an outstanding job on this, better than what 99% of people here could probably do, myself included

Very well done!

I think a lack of understanding of the design of the liners is responsible for most of the negative comments, including mine.:foot:
Sorry about that.
