Gayle Bradley

Got a used GB at first, to give it a spin. Ended up liking it so much and bought a
new one...which was so much better out of the box. It's just ridiculous how much
knife you get for the price, ridiculous.

The PM2 is actually not all that thin at all. You'd be surprised at just how thick it is, and there are a LOT of other knives (like the griptillian) that are ground thinner and cut better (in my opinion) - but they aren't touted as "super slicers" because they aren't FFG. It seems like people have been trained to see a FFG blade and automatically think it's super thinly ground.

Totally agree with that

I've always had issues with the carry position on the GB - the factory clip forces it to ride too high in the pocket. It just isn't comfortable for me in this position. I decided to take an STR Ti lo-rider clip off of one of my Para2s and try it on the GB. Wow! It works like a charm and carries in a much more comfortable position.

I'm thinking about contacting Steve to see if he has a standard triangular Millie lo-rider clip that would fit the new Starmate!

GB is indeed a must have. Pure winner in every aspect. For me it warrants a before need replacement.

I would rather have 4 GB'S than one large sebbie.. The sebbie rides better, F&F is slightly better.. but NO ONE will ever say it cuts better OR holds an edge longer than an M4 GB!! I have a startac and it gets zero pocket time.. I am going to get a back up GB and call it good.. I have been on this addictive roller coaster, and now that the ride is ending... the GB, Millie and one Dozier folder are going to be the only ones left standing..

Which Dozier folder you have?

Guys, just got two Gayle Bradley's today. They are awesome! Feel very tough!
But I'm wondering about the thumb ramp jimping on them. Between the two knives, there's a huge difference in the depth of the jimping. Top one is somewhat normal, maybe a tad shallow. On the bottom one, it's cut super deep.
What do you think?

Maybe they were produced at different times? What are the dates on the boxes?

Both are KJ, November 2010. Pretty old stock for a current order from a big knife vendor. (Not that age really matters here)
