well, she starts a new nite job next week and i gave her a cell phone and a spyderco matriarch, she already has a couple of lites from me (a fenix P2D-CE and a arc AAA) so am hoping this will help keep her safe, with a little luck we'll still be together when my contract with cingular goes out(~ 6 months) or i'll be choking up the $$ monthly for that phone lol (i imagine we will be will be a year for us in july, if she hasnt ran me off/i havent ran her off yet i think the worst is behind us)
am trying to talk her into going shooting with me, she doesnt have anything against guns shes just afraid of them, when she was ~10 or 11 her dad let her shoot his darned S&W 29 .44 and she ended up with a bloody nose from the recoil, i dont know why her dad did that, the dummy. but she'll come around i imagine, dont think she'll ever wanna hunt like my wife did though.
mentioned it to her dad and he laughed about it. i was like "FYI thats probably not a good idea or really funny to give a little girl a .44 mag when she had never shot anything before in her life unless ya wanna make her scared of guns from that point on".
