I could totally see that if you were sweating a ton there could be a lack of airflow.

I’ve yet to try kuiu but I’ve heard good things!

Speaking of Kifaru I just picked up an older G2 MMR with their duplex frame so pretty excited to check that one out and I also picked up an Xray that I think I will turn into an EDC/day pack setup.
Fit on the duplex seems ok but I haven’t tracked any miles in it just an initial fit.

I spent a LOT of time in the Kifaru showroom here over the years, trying to find one that worked. I just couldn't. 🤷🏻‍♂️

The biggest complaint I've heard about the Kuiu packs is that they squeak and are noisy. That hasn't been my experience, and I chalk it up to poor frame/bag installation, and not getting all the straps properly tight.
 
Backside of my pack Redclay Redclay showing how much more open it is, and how the shoulder straps are adjustable for width/cant. The lumbar/ sacral crest pad is customizable too, can be made thicker or thinner, and it moves up and down on the frame independent of the hip belt, to fit you just right. :thumbsup: Frame is a full custom carbon fiber layup, and it’s amazingly light.
