Great fit and finish on the Beer Cub, love the linen micarta used on these. My minor complaint would be the the pull. Feels light, leaves a bit to be desired.

Would like to see a 14 in bone 1st and ebony 2nd and having a bail,single blade or one with an awl or caplifter.and the same goes for the 15 pattern,I need a gec with a bail are my mind will be unsettled.

That's going to be hard to come by my friend. Very few were ever made with bails.. awls as well. Have you gone to the GEC website past production and looked at all they have made?

Ya I pretty much went through all the patterns on their site,as well as read the gec threads,I believe that the 14 had some with bails,but it is more a reason to come out with 14 with bail.but it might not be a popular ask.i just don't see the need for a pen blade on a 3" knife,as a secondary blade.so awl or caplifter or single blade with bail.but if I'm being truthfull bill howard has never asked my opinion,unless it went to spam.

The purple sage natural bone looks alot different then the purple sage jigged bone in 2014,sun can do some crazy things or covid.

i often use the small pen blade on my 2 blade knives and I must say the pen blade on my old 2 blade 14 is perfect. I like the sharper/narrow tip very much. Sometimes GEC uses a rounder tip on the pen and it’s not as good for me. Those 2 blade 14 barlows look fantastic
