Are the 2 bladed 15's still light enough to carry in slacks? I just worry the knife will double in width
you will have to decide by doing some shopping or else you will never know
for what its worth I have a single blade charlow that weighs as much as 11.4 nickels and a 2 blade charlow that weighs as much as 14.4 nickels. The difference is the weight of 3 nickels, each being 5 grams.
So try this, take your single blade, tape 3 nickels to it, and put it in your slacks, then tell me if its too heavy for you.
In terms of thickness your 3 nickel knife is similar to a 2 blade, so you can make some guesses about that too.
The single blade is 3/8" thick, the 2 blade is 4/8" thick, a difference of 1/8", which is a 33% increase.
In summary, a 2 blade is 26% heavier and 33% thicker.
Now you still need to go buy one of each

And please post links and pictures of the knives you are talking about. Happy Shopping
