It is a very dark blue, with almost blacks specs in the camel bone imperfections. Best way I can describe it would be an "ink blue."

Here is a close up that looks pretty accurate to the color I see in person.

GEC #871223. I’m really happy with the dye job on this camel bone. It was definitely worth the wait. After seeing some of the other covers on the 87 come and go I was worried I was making a mistake by not grabbing one of them. I’m pleased to see I made the right decision.

Received this morning : Very happy with this one . Checked all the normal things and they are fine . Main Blade Nail Nick is accessible F&F are remarkable . Like the length , Colors , Bolster , End Cap , Shield , and the Smooth Bone is very smooth . This knife is most likely made of Unobtainium .

Harry
