Nice looking knife; hard to tell the color. Is it blue??

It is a very dark blue, with almost blacks specs in the camel bone imperfections. Best way I can describe it would be an "ink blue."

Here is a close up that looks pretty accurate to the color I see in person.

id say you did pretty good, but then and again I never got the craze over camel bone or giraffe bone, to each their own

It looks like the pen blade is in the way of the main blades pull. Is that just the pictures or does it block the clip point?

It's close, but you can still get at the main blade. Doesn't really bother me.

Never had an issue with getting to the main blade nail nick.

When GEC checked "color" on the order sheet, they must have checked "assorted"!!!
